Welcome to Biovisa.net!
We are a group of researchers in the field of neuroscience. The website is the result of a brain-storm
we held on bioinformatics.
Our objective is to build a community for life science researchers and
facilitate information sharing using state-of-the-art internet
technology. Biovisa.net is more than a
collection of useful web links. All
the online resources collected here are well indexed so that they can be
easily accessed. Based on a relational
database, the website is fully customizable, allowing registered users to
keep a list of items of highest interest at hand. What's more, Biovisa.net users can discuss
any indexed items, be it a lab protocol or a book chapter, with those who
share the same interest.
We have been building this website in our spare time. Program debugging and content management
could sometimes be very tiresome. But
we feel it worthwhile seeing users from all around the world starting to use
the tools here. Our registered user
base reached 5,000 on April 9, 2004.
